Have just spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Cliffs. The staff are very friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. I think that we had a recently renovated room as the bathroom looked newly decorated with a new suite. The food was excellent and a very good choice of dishes on both nights we were there. The entertainment was... More

We really enjoyed our time here and for the price it was very good. The food is OK and not bad for the price. Good entertainment for children and families at night. The only thing I would say is be prepared for the rooms!!! The bathrooms are tiny. You can't sit down too long on the toilet and forget trying... More

Stayed last weekend and hotel is ok. Good staff, breakfast very good. Cant comment on evening dinner as we were b&b only. As others say rooms need an update and public areas too. Rooms only have Yale type locks while in the room was a warning about chance thieves targetting the area. Pool etc was good with nice free towels.... More

I am a man that is well travelled and ia in his mature years, and I have yet to find a more friendly and well managed hotel than Cliffs Hotel in Blackpool. Food, entertainment, gym, and location are all first class. You will find that 80% of the guests have been there many times before.I'll see you there. More

Loved this Hotel and I will definitely be back! My room was very clean with modern decor, spacious and had hairdryer, TV, telephone and tea and coffee available. Bathroom was very clean, had new fluffy towels and a good size of bath with shower gel/shampoo. Pool was very popular with families so was hard to swim but still had a... More

Could not fault the hotel. The room had been refurbished to a good standard with new windows and curtains. Bathroom on the small side but adequate. The service was excellent in the restaurant with a varied choice of all courses on the menu. The food itself was superb and our friends with us also commented on the high standards throughout the... Once again a pleasant long weekend stay.We did change rooms due to although having booked well in advance and being gold club members and requesting 'nice'room we were given somewhat of a 'cupboard'.neverhless when we asked to be moved we were given a family room even though we were a couple.Meals once again were excellent and the staff also. One continuos... I cannot describe how awful this hotel is I booked here over the Hilton after good reviews in this site. However arrived and given a tiny twin room hardly enough room to walk around the bed facing over a roof with vents in it. One bed was against dirty peeling wallpaper and the beds could not be pushed together (romantic... More

Dear Mcr160980 Having read your review, we obviously failed to meet your expectations and apologise for that. Without going into a detailed response to every point raised, I felt i must at least reply. Being a large hotel, 160 rooms accommodating up to 400 people, the Cliffs obviously has an on going refurbishment programme and admittedly there will always be... More

Just been for a short break, Mon to Fri, with my husband and 91 year old mother, had a really good time, ours was a family room with two separate bedrooms which gave us privacy while still being together. Meals were delicious, entertainment very good, fantastic value for money as it was all inclusive. Going back to the Claremont (their... More
