Stayed here whilst working an event in blackpool Luckily we were out most of the day and only had to use it as a place to sleep because if we had booked this bnb in hopes for a lovely stay you would not be getting that. The room was small and dated things were falling off the walls the shower head was taped on! The Saturday morning 8am electrics must of tripped and the fire alarm was going off for about a hour! Only positive really is the pillows were decent 🤷‍♀️

An eccentric place that you might expect in a developing country. None of the phone numbers on the confirmation or their website worked. On arrival, we found a shabby exterior that belies the photo on their listing. Inside there were motley people, and it took a moment to realise who was staff and who were other guests. There was no professional, friendly welcome that would be usual. We were simple given keys and told our room numbers. The decor everywhere was tired and neglected. Our twin-bedded room was cramped and tired-looking. There was a used coffee cup on the window-sill. On the positive side - there were fresh cups etc for coffee/tea making. The bedsheets were fresh and clean. The mattresses were softer than is usual these days, and they looked shabby. Despite that, we slept well. I had to ask for towels, as there were none in the room when we arrived. The toilet/shower door was between the two beds. For some reason the door was hung with the toilet door light behind it. The floor of the toilet room looked and felt unclean. No bath mat was provided. The toilet and wash basin were fine. Hot water ran quickly. The shower curtain was too short to stop water spilling on the floor. The shower water was warm enough but was more of a sprinkle than expected. The pole holding the shower head was wonky. Overall, this eccentric hotel falls well below the standard I would expect in a western country, both in terms of customer service, decor, and facilities. I cannot understand how the average rating can be more than one star.

Pros - room with a sea view. This was the only thing that was right matching the description or reviews! We could see the sea from our room. But we didn't, we avoided the room. Cons - arrived to a severely strong bleach smell that made your eyes water. Not sure what was bleached though, as you can see from the photos, our room was disgustingly filthy! Dirty un vacuumed carpet, skirting and plug sockets. Mounds of dust, mould and grime everywhere. No bathroom mirror, in fact the 1 mirror provided was also discusting. It was a pink velvet mirror with patches and stains all around the edge and was positioned too high and in an awkward place. Frayed carpets, dirty linen, 1 large bath towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people for 2 nights. We had to request extra toilet roll as was poor quality and was like sand paper. Mouldy shower drain and rusty shower caddy. Rusty towel rail, shelves and sink handles. All unusable! We literally only used the toilet! Bathroom blind broken but was useless anyway as both blinds did nothing to keep the light out. Balcony area was nothing like the photos, a bunch of mix match garden chairs scattered around. These were right infront of rooms that had patio doors opening onto it so you felt you were invading peoples privacy. Unwelcoming bar area with an unnerving host! Even though that was the cleanest part of the whole place it felt like you were invading their area and they didn't want you there. Bed was awful to sleep in, thin, springy and too small. The place needs a massive do over and is not worth claiming vouchers for a stay here for a couple or family. I would say its a health and fire risk. A night out with your mates and somewhere to crash and not worry about trashing the room and it not being any worse than when you got there is what it's perfect for!!!!!

This is by far the worst hotel room I’ve ever seen in my entire life, didn’t even have any towels in our room. we literally checked out about 20 minutes after we check in and booked a premier inn instead. I’ve had better rooms in the army.
