I went and stayed here in a triple room with my two other friends Jenna and Pamela. It was Brilliant. The room was spacious, it had ironing facilities, cupboards and an ensuite bathroom. Lovely hotel close to Anfield and the city center (15 minute walk to each). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with cabs available from receptions. well just back from a great stay in the Throstles hotel. very close to town and have everything you need. fantastic breakfast and staff really helpful especially Kevin. my friends were staying here and at very short notice the staff managed to get me a room. as i say great Hotel, and great location for Aintree Grand national. Ok the good points. The rooms where clean and it is only 15mins walk to Anfield. Bad points - Staff where unfriendly, the bar attached to the hotel was rough, fist fights, selling drugs and a drunk bar maid did not do anything for the reputation of the hotel.
