Stopped here, with my wife and daughter, so as to be near Crystal Palce for the annual London-2-Brighton Mini run. I wish I'd camped. This hotel is a dump, it needs closing down. There was building work going on and lots of mess everywhere. Our room was terrible. It needed new carpets, curtains, redecorating. Would not recommend. Breeze was coming through windows even when closed. In our 4 days stay 2 days no hot water and 2 days hot. I doubt the cleanliness of the rooms (at least the bathroom was OK). Dead insects by the windows...Room was constantly cold and breezy, you could hear everything that was going on in the hotel through... More

The rooms had paint and paper hanging off the wall, Staines on the celing in the rooms, the bath rooms was dirty, it was not present at all.
