My wife and I stayed overnight so that we could meet friends in a nearby restaurant. We had not been to the hotel before and only heard of it when we searched for hotels near to the restaurant. The location was excellent and only just of the Kings Road and nearby to an under ground Car park which the hotel... More

As I rely on these TripAdvisor reviews for my travels, I am leaving a long, detailed review and include the things I always find helpful to know myself. I had a very enjoyable 10-day stay for business at this lovely hotel - a boutique guest house feel which is beautifully appointed in Old English style and lavishly decorated with beautiful... More

We chose the San Domenico House as it is very convenient for Sloan Square which is where we needed to be on this occasion. First impression was "this is odd" as I had to ring the doorbell to get in (at 3pm in the afternoon). The next odd thing was reception wanting photo confirmation of my ID and address and... More

We stayed for a 2 night break at San Domenico House. As newlyweds we booked their honeymoon package in a deluxe gallery suite. The greeting on arrival was excellent as was the rest of the service we encountered during our stay. I stumbled accross the hotel on a "boutique hotel" website and we certainly weren't disappointed. The decor is every... More

I actually signed up to Trip Advisor to leave a review for the guys at SDH as a thank you for being so nice. I can't understand other reviews criticizing the hospitality. I was very happy with every aspect of my stay but especially by the personal and polite service that I experienced from everyone at SDH. I feel they... More

This little B&B was the perfect find. After many attempts with boutique hotels in London, we were thrilled that San Domenico House offered large rooms with excellent service and a real "home away from home" ambiance. Ideally located wihin a stone's throw from Sloane Square and Kings Road, what better spot to spend a few days. The staff bent over... More

Stayed here for two nights with my husband for short a Christmas break and have mixed feelings about our experience. First impressions were pretty good: the reception area was decorated beautifully for Christmas and had welcoming open fire. The member of staff who checked us in was not quite so welcoming, we felt they made no attempt to create any... More

If you want to return as soon as you leave then that says it all about this charming and quirky mini hotel in Chelsea. The staff were all absolutely lovely and genuinely helpful, we experienced no language difficulties at all, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful street, no noise from anything despite... More

A beautiful and impressive small hotel that is in a great location. The rooms are large, particularly by London standards, with tasteful decorations and excellent furnishings - it certainly feels like five star luxury accommodation. The staff were excellent, very efficient and friendly. I did not stay for breakfast so unable to comment. Only very small drawback is that there... More

Great little hotel in the west end. 1 minute walk to Kings rd, 3 minutes to Sloane Square. Tastefully decorated with antiques, pictures galore, and a cosy lounge. Only does breakfast no restaurant. Staff varied. Mostly great but on arrival one night did get funny looks and a request for ID that I stayed there (similar to other write ups)... More
