“Great location”

Small hotel and very pleasant. Room was excellent,clean and well furnished. Air-conditioning worked well after the maintenance engineer came up very quickly and sorted it out. I have complained about a number of,more expensive,British hotels where the air-conditioning is a bad joke. Breakfast very nice but price a bit steep.

“how can this be rated a four star hotel?”

Fortunately we had only booked this hotel for one night! The web site of this "luxury four star boutique hotel" looked lovely and was in the location we required so we thought we had struck gold ... how deceptive pictures can be. I stayed 4 nights while attending a conference at UCL. Single room (#6) was small but sufficient. It was also very quiet, which I appreciated very much. This is a fairly small, rather smart hotel in a convenient location near the British Museum. The breakfast is good, and the room comfortable. The only drawback for us; the room was in a semi basement, so a bit gloomy. We would definitely use it again, though.

“Nice place at an adequate price”

Stayed in large family suite, which had lots of room and worked out at a reasonable price for the four of us. Helpful friendly staff. Really lovely breakfast, if a little pricey. The only complaint is it is a bit pokey, which can attributed to the fact it is made from 5 terraced houses knocked together.
