Huge hotel, friendly staff, rooms ok a bit small, views really are very good the higher you go, but had everything in it you could need. Didnt realise there was a "pub" style bar in the hotel until leaving which we would have used if known. Grounds of hotel very well kept and a nice place to relax in with... More

Very handy place to stay with close access to the Tube at Glouster Road and a nice walk to the Park and Kensington Palace. They also had a wonderful full breakfast. The room was very clean and everyone was helpful. No, the room and bathroom are not big but fine, remember your in England. More

It's just too big. Fortunately my room was on the 5th floor so I always used the stairs rather than wait 5 minutes for a lifts. And get down to breakfast at the wrong time and you will have to wait 10 minutes for a table - but they provide pastries and newspapers while you stand in line! I thought... More

We stayed on the HI Kensington Forum for a week. All in all a very good hotel. It's not trendy or luxurious, but you get great service, a very good breakfast and a nice room (ours was a "triple room"). Location: The hotel is located about 1 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube station, from which you can take the... More

Really a very nice hotel at a reasonable price for London, and great location. Mostly done up in a modern, IKEA sort of way but don't let that throw you. Rooms are very comfortable, a bit small but not bad for a mid-city. Don't be embarrassed to learn that you have to put your rooom key in the slot to... More

This hotel has recently opened a Club Lounge and as the Crowne Plaza Kensington (which is across the road and is a way better hotel) was too expensive we ended up staying here. The Executive Rooms, in many ways are not worth the money. All the rooms appear to be the same and small. Sliding door into the bathroom and... More

For those unaware tourists it is not normal to have to pay for you Internet in Europe, it is a standard free service, but not at this hotel. The heating is disabled to the rooms and it took 3 calls to reception for them to enable it for me, why is the heating disabled? Is it because so many Aussies... More

My room had air con that didn't 'cool' well (even at 16 deg. was only blowing room temp air) reported on day 1 of 3 night stay- but nothing was done (I opened window for ventilation in end) More annoying was a very noisy fridge (empty ex mini bar) again, reported day 1, nothing done so I removed a draw... The pluses of this property the tube connections are really good from here on the district, circle and picadilly, I thought the hotel staff were very accomodating. I would characterize this as a good place to go to escape some of the hustle and bustle more quiet and residential . There were two pubs within a block, several restaurants and... More

I didn't expect much when I arrived to the hotel based on the reviews here. I was wrong. the hotel staff (A guy name Philip) gave me the best welcome you can expect, and assist me with every issue I had. Rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is rich but a bit crowded. The hotel is... More
