I did get a good rate but the bedroom was really no bigger than a broom cupboard. I remembered the hotel being better but this was a while ago. It all seemed a little tired but at least it's smallish, private and in a good location. More

I was booked into Durrants for the night by a company I was doing some work for. I did not know the hotel and while the location is good, I won't rush back. The bed was comfortable but the room very small. The plumbing also clearly needs upgrading as my bath took at least 20 minutes to run. I also... More

This comfortable and quiet hotel is a good choice for those who want a location handy to Wigmore Hall. Rooms may be on the small side but are nicely if rather quaintly furnished. Staff are helpful and courteous -- indeed they proved very resourceful in helping with an emergency overseas phone call. Relaxing restaurant and bar. More

Durrants, an independent family owned hotel was a gem of a find in Central W1 area. You are only a short walking distance to Bond St tube station, Oxford St shopping and the quaint Marleybone high street. We loved the finishing touches in our room, from the giant olden style key, wooden wardrobe and Georgian styled rose print bedding through... More

We really enjoyed out overnight stay. Very helpful staff. Lovely large room. Perfect location----oasis of calm a few minutes from Oxford St or Marleybone village. It has a lovely atmosphere, slightly stepping back in time, with matching rooms and furnishings. For us, this is what we loved. But it won't suit those prefering modern (souless?) hotels. We plan to return... More

This magnificent georgian building houses one of the most unique hotels in London. Filled with antiques, it will evoke nostalgia on ever floor. The restaurant serves excellent food, and had a wine list for everyone's pocket - including some rare masterpieces. Location-wise, this is convenient for every 'village' of central London. More

We have stayed at Durrants on a number of occasions before and once again had a pleasant overnight stay. The hotel is calm and relaxing with efficient and pleasant staff, lovely bar and lounge. The rooms vary in size and decor but are comfortable and this time with a nice view over a quiet side street. The area is especially... More

What a wonderful and stylish place to stay when you are in London. Durrants is one of very few still privately owned hotels and it shows in every detail. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff so helpful, in a gracious way and the whole hotel is pure luxury. Conveniently located close to Oxford Street and indeed the city centre, with... More

Very good location, Staff are very attentive and polite. It's not modern though, in fact - that's it's charm. If you want a hotel with character and are prepared to forego some modern day luxuries, then this is your place. The rooms are all different and the route to them can be a little circuitous,Very few rooms have air conditioning... More
