We found it easy to get all over London from this very nice South Kensington location. This is a fine place to stay if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel. Our room was very small and the closet door only opened half way. Everything else was in working order and comfortable enough. Breakfast was... More

I stayed here on business for a week as my usual hotel was full up. I arrived in a huff because I like my regular hotel. Trip Advisor ( my constant travel companion ) had put me off with some of the comments too. Upon arrival reception staff were helpful and polite. The put me in a quiet room which... More

Picked up a room on comparison site and proved real value for money. The room had been recently decorated, and they were clearly working their way through the building. Some of the rooms are on the smaller size, but very comfortable. Continental breakfast was included which was very good. Service in hotel was good - room for improvement with the... More

I stayed here for business and this was the cheapest and closest for my purposes. On the positive side the hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel decor was very tired and this continued in my room. My single room was very small, and I hardly had room to walk around the... More

An average hotel which has strongest positive point of its location. The rooms are very small but its bath are satisfactory. For new tourist it is better to stay on upper floor and to avoid basement. The dining hall is capacious and breakfast items and the service was excellent. More

A city hotel that is reasonably well refurbished to its old charm. Comfortable room with good heating and a spacious bathroom. More

We ( two couples ) have just had a two night stay at this hotel, & we were really impressed with the whole experience. The hotel is very close to Gloucester Road tube station, making a good base for visiting the centre of London. The staff were very attentive, both in reception & at breakfast, which was served in a... More

Grange Strathmore is not the typical large hotel that I'm used to staying at. This is a nice boutique hotel in a 5 story townhouse. I didn't expect much after reading some of these reviews but overall this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel could use some touchups here and there but it certainly is not in tatters. The...
