This hotel could be extremely nice with some work and upgrades. It is in a nice complex of similar styled building, faces a park (although my room didn't) and is close to both Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations. They are currently painting the outside, but the lobby furniture is still the same as it shows in some of the photos... More

So I was in London for the day and needed a place at short notice. I found this place and at about £35 it seemed too good to be true. Despite negative reviews I booked it and was very impressed. The room was spacious, had 3 beds, a plasma and a plush bathroom. Breakfast was included for free and the... More

I was staying in this hotel last year and since this time a lot have changed. Front desk stuff is most helpfull especially philippine guy Saturnino. Next morning when I awake there was receptionist Salman and he sold me very nice trip Big Bus around London and he give me all directions and information I should see in London. Very... More

The hotel was acceptable, but nothing more than that. The beds were more like camping beds and were really shaky. Wifi is only available in the lobby and didn't work half of the 4 days we were there. A big plus was the quiet hallway where our room was situated: we were in room 302 which is at the very... More

We chose this ourselves and really we could have made a better choice. Very tired building with unfriendly front desk staff. High cost of WiFi so we used a local pub instead, . Building was undergoing needed repairs so scaffolding covered the front of the building. Breakfast was ok but not a lot of choice.

We had 2 rooms for a one night stopover between Paris and Pembrokeshire; room 116 a twin and room 102 a triple for my three teenage children. Every aspect of this hotel was truly appauling! Filthy carpets, strong unpleasant smells, uncomfortable beds which were glorified camping/metal frame beds in reality, very dangerous electrics with sockets held together with masking tape... More

The room was in the basement, it was damp, musty and dreary, even with the window wide open when we arrived. The ceiling tiles were mismatched and stained. The bathroom mirror was crazed along the edges. The toilet pan was dirty and there was no toilet brush. The lock was broken on the bathroom door. We had to wedge the... More

This hotel is not that cheap for the standard. Paid £54.00p single, and £66.00p for a twin room b & b. The smell of fustiness hit you on entrance and torn furniture. Friendly greeting but thats all. Yes should have turned around, fortunately only staying one night, did not have time to look elsewhere. Bedroom dark, dingy, and patchwork decor.... More

On first arrival the hotel looked lovely , a georgian building with marble flooring etc but it soon turned sour. Here is a snapshot of the problems we encountered : We had four rooms altogether but they all had similar problems ,if not worse: The smell in the rooms was ghastly, one of our rooms(party of 13) looked like it... Dangerous electrics (sockets heled together with tape, and only some acctually worked). I acctually felt scared to use the sink and shower due to the smell and grottyness. Not only did the room smell, but the reception did too. Don't get me wrong, the location it brilliant as long as you want to go to the train station..but that's it
