Hotel reception very clean and inviting. All the staff were very helpful at check-in. Room was nice and big for London standards. Lovely big soft towels in bathroom and nice toiletries. When booking in the cookie was great fun and very tasty. The room was clean and fresh and the air con great as the weather was humid. Dinner in my room was excellent and delivered on time and nice and warm, breakfast was also excellant.

I previously stayed here when it was the Hesperia London Victoria. Nothing has changed. The room is spacious, the bed is wide, the bathroom is also spacious with a good sized bathtub. If you are HH Gold you probably find better. Overall the staff are very nice except the fellow on the door who did not assist with baggage on going or leaving ( there are stairs at the entrance) or assist with getting a taxi. Just ignored me. We had a trip booked on the Orient Express and needed a nearby hotel. We succeeded! And it's a good hotel! Could hardly have been better place for our requirements. Despite being in the centre of a busy area there was no traffic noise in the hotel, apart from the occasional passing aircraft. A good choice for us.

Room was clean, location was not so great. Not close to restaurants, just a good walk to touristy pubs.
