Great location for transport links. The room was quite small with an even smaller ensuite. The room we had was very noisy at night, possibly next to some kind of generator / air con unit.

The Mercure Paddington is about 2 minutes walk from Paddington main line railway station and 15 minutes from Marble Arch. Mercure London Paddington Hotel is located seconds from Paddington UndergroundStation and Heathrow Express. Exit in Praed Street and you will see Garfunkel's Restaurant across the road and the hotel entrance is immediately next to it,less than a minute walk. I found this a great location for using the tube. Previously the Crown Plaza (was there 2 years ago but still the same) now it is called the Mercure.
