We booked late and got a reduced rate, and so , I assume , our room ( number 9 )was in the basement the view limited to a wall about 6 feet away. This did,nt matter much as it was only an overnight but just short of £200 a bit over priced. The breakfast which was include in the price... More

The wifi does not work in the rooms. You have to pay for it and then, even though we were on the first floor it wouldn't work in our room. When we spoke to the front desk about it we were told they would half the price for us. Not really helpful considering we had to pay £10 for a... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night and the standard was well above what we expected for the price we paid. Our room was lovely - large for London, modern and well equipped with quirky additions (and a very comfy bed). It had a small but modern bathroom with very nice toiletries. Breakfast was probably one of the... More

It was the last room available and it lived up to that bill. The room was right over the kitchen and, since the window didn't close all the way, it was filled with different aromas. The shower was clogged. At first, I had one minute to use the water before I had to turn it off due to a clogged... More

We were there for the Bowie exhibition at the V and A and this hotel was ideal for that. Decor is lovely, and the rooms although small provided everything we needed. Beds were super comfy and despite worrying that our room overlooked the busy road we had an excellent nights sleep. Only downside was the bar. Expensive and what little... More

Stayed six nights in May 2013, room 310. Positive things: Hotel easy to find from Gloucester Road Tube station ( five minute walk), staff friendly, upgraded, comfortable bed, good size room, coffee making facilities, clean bathroom, excellent products, quiet room double glazing. Negative things: Internet expensive, some noise from room above. Over all: would stay again would love the Internet... More

This is a nice hotel, it was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The room however was very very small, so be aware! We were advised that we had in fact been upgraded to a king room from a queen room so we'd hate to see the size of those rooms. We had nowhere to put our suitcases and... More

Very regretful that I booked this hotel when there are plenty of London hotels to pick from for the same price or cheaper. My room was the size of a closet and my feet has to go up on the wall. If the London weather doesn't do it already this room will definitely depress you. The configuration of the room... More

I do not usually stay Kensington/ Glochester Rd area of London as it is little far from business district, but as part of GHA hotel, I did give it a try. I have Black status on GHA (which is highest and ought to get double upgrade at check in) but the room I was given was so small that it... More

The location in Kensington is pretty and convenient and the hotel is part of a pleasant row of old buildings. The lobby has droopy stuffed furniture, although it has its charm. Although the hotel was recently renovated, that cannot make up for the size of the rooms. The king bed room that I thought I was really a double bed... More
