Hotel is conveniently located. Rooms are ok size for central London (bathroom v small) but would be small compared to non london hotels. My room was clean, well maintained and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. I was there during a hot week and while the lobby is well air conditioned, the rest of the hotel is not. Fortunately I... More

We booked using some reward points we had from a stay at another Melia property last year. The bedroom we were allocated was ridiculously small for a double so I went back to reception and ended up paying for an upgrade to a "Junior Suite" which included a buffet breakfast in the Executive Lounge and Free WiFi (so quite good... We stayed here last weekend and on arriving at the hotel, first impressions were quite good. There's an 'interesting' smell when you initially walk through the lobby to reception - e.g. clean and fresh but after a while, its becomes overwhelming (like a sickly soap scent). Which is a shame because its quite distracting from the very spacious and pleasant... More

Executive room was fine, not particularly big but OK. Bar service was prompt and friendly. Check-in was swift and efficient. Can’t fault anything about this hotel in the 3 nights I was there, other than I thought the rooms were a bit too warm at night. The porter will look after your luggage if you arrive before 3pm check-in, which... More

We stayed here for the weekend and were impressed. Granted on arrival our room wasnt ready but by the time we had a drink in the bar this was rectified. Like other reviewers say rooms are not massive but adequate. I dont visit a city to spend my time in my room. Service in the bar was exceptional and measures... More

We just spent four nights at the Melia. We initially thought it was a lovely place. Nice room (though a small and dark bathroom) and access to a very nice executive lounge "The Level"-- but it didn't take long to see through this hotel's veneer. Service was -- well-- awful. From a waitress at the lounge who just moved her... More

Even though the chain hotel tag should guarantee quality, it was not that in our case. Dusty desks, test fire alarms going off without informing guests first, housekeeping walking in the room without knocking first, the reception desk is not answering calls made from the room... I know I will never stay here in the future for my money. P.S... More

We have stayed at The Melia White House hotel for a third time. The staff are welcoming and efficient. We upgraded to an executive level room which was light, spacious and airy. The breakfast was a relaxing experience and the Level lounge was quiet and luxurious. This hotel ticks all the right boxes and we are looking forward to our... More

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel, and I would recommend it to other people. It is conveniently located just opposite a tube station, and is a pleasant walk to Oxford Circus (about ten minutes). The hotel is a very good example of a spanish run hotel of a decent standard - the staff are helpful... More

The Melia White House Hotel is an OK 4 star hotel in London. We stayed for two days beforer flying back home (we were coming back from the states). The hotel is centrally located, and has good bus and metro connections. The hotel has been refurbished not long ago, and the rooms are OK in size (London style), clean and... More
