I just returned from staying 8 night at the Parkwood. What a "spot on" location and a fabulous rate for central London. It is a very small B&B with no elevator that could be a problem if steps are a challenge. We had room # 3 which was on the first floor (second floor for Europe) but the staircase is...

We've stayed twice at the Parkwood near Marble Arch, and the value is excellent. It's one of the lower priced bed and breakfasts, but the excellent breakfasts ("traditional English" or cooked to order w/eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, jam, cereals, juices, etc.) and the friendly European staff make it a great place. The rooms are small and there are stairs to...

I recently stayed here for 7 nights and had a great time the entire time I as there.
Yes, it is a great location. It is only about 1 block or so from the Marble Arch tube stop on the Central line, and literally just across the street from Hyde Park (the northeast corner). Additionally, there are pubs, a McDonalds,...

I have stayed at this small B&B many times and I beleive it is the best for value and money. The location is right down the street from the Tube ( Marble Arch). The hotel is tucked around the corner from Oxford St. and Edgeware Raod. There is a cinema across the street and a grocery store. also, there is...

I had a first-rate experience at the Westport B&B in London. The family that runs the place, as well as the staff, will bend over backward to make your stay comfortable and help with travel and logistics. They are great! My room had simple decor and was spotlessly clean. It featured a plain but useful armoire, tall ceilings and a...

This isn't the Ritz, nor does it pretend to be the Ritz. It is a good value for money budget hotel, in a very central, and therefore normally expensive, area.
The welcome was warm and efficient, the room was small, clean and efficient, the bathroom was clean, and small.
Who cares though, it was £65 and I slep there for...

I was in London for two weeks and looked at multiple housing options. This was an average accommodation. Needed paint, fairly clean, no lift. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Reception area crowded with stored luggage. Free & fast wi-fi.

As a family of four we spent 4 nights at the hotel. After flying > 24hrs from Australia and arriving early for our check-in, the staff was very helpful in assisting us. We were able to get a nice shower with fresh towels and clean facilities which was wonderful!
Situated at Marble Arch which is at the top end of...

Stayed here in November of 2011. It is not luxury, but is clean, comfortable and everyone on the staff is so very nice. We were three short blocks from the tube and two blocks from a very convenient bus stop. The bathrooms are tight, but adequate. Is on a quiet street so there was no street noise. They have the...
