The Royal Cambridge Hotel is a fairly cheap hotel in London, near Marble Arch. Located in the Paddington area at Sussex gardens. Budget hotel. Tiny rooms and small beds. Has wifi but no in-room safe deposit boxes. Close to Marble Arch, Oxford Street and the serpentine lake for boating enthusiasts. Picadilly circus and the westend of London are a stone throw away. Could be cleaner. Carpets need changing

I have never stayed in such a disgusting environment. We were given room G2 - supposedly a double room with ensuite bathroom. There was no bath and to use the loo comfortably you had to sit at an angle towards the door. Nowhere to hang wet towels but worse than anything was the disgusting sewage smell coming from the bathroom.... More

Room a good size, plenty of storage space. A shortage of hot water and a mediocre breakfast but it offers very good value for a hotel so close to the centre of London. It is in a pleasant side street and we had a lovely view.
