Stayed here last weekend, needed somewhere central to base ourselves for rugby and drinking! As other reviewers have said, its in a fab position, next to Chalk Farm tube, and only 25 minute walk to Euston. Room was tiny but adequate as we would only be laying our heads there. When we got back to the hotel the pub across... More

We stayed here as we were going to the Round House to see Killing Joke and The Stranglers. The location is great - the tube station and The Round House are so close. It's very basic - but the cost is so reasonable for the location. Good points - location, cost and the breakfast is good Bad points - ask... More

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I have to say it's a great find. The rate I paid both times was just over £70 a night (double) through a third party site, and bearing in mind that it included breakfast - which is very tasty - it's excellent value. Friendly staff, basic clean rooms, good... More

me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few nights and actually found it to be a very nice place to stay, it was a lot cheaper than other hotels in London so we were not expecting it to be great, but we actually found it to be a very clean and comfortable hotel, ideal for travelling into central London... Stayed for two nights. One minute walk from tube station. Looks a bit grotty fr the nice outside but friendly staff on reception. Our room was at the back so nice and quiet the front looked like it may be noisy as overlooking a pub. Room was small but clean. Location ideal for us as we went to the Roundhouse for... More

Stayed for one night (thankfully). Can't say I really slept, even with my ears stuffed with ear plugs - to be fair, the noise was coming from the bar across the road but the fact that the bathroom window didn't shut wasn't helpful. Bed was uncomfortable, shower varied between a 'trickle' & 'enough to wash soap from your eyes!', dated... More

We just stayed in the Camden Lock Hotel whilst attending a gig at the Round House. In truth, this is a very good, functional hotel. We requested a quiet room, and were amazed by just how quiet it as. Even 7 am on a Saturday morning and with all the windows open all you could hear was the birds tweeting... More

I have just returned from a short stay in the Camden Lock Hotel. I stayed there with my daughter who is 18 and had to prepare for a uni interview during our stay. I had previously stayed in a "basic" London hotel and hated it so I was a little worried about this hotel. However I was really impressed with... More

Cheap and cheerful just about sums up this hotel which in truth is more like a hostel. The beds were comfortable; the bed linen fresh and clean; plenty of nice fluffy bath towels and the room warm even on a freezing cold night. However.....no hair dryer in the room; no bed-side cabinet or table; the window surrounds had not been... More
