stayed at the Mentone a couple of days ago for one night, well worth it, the place was spotless, staff were very pleasant and breakfast was good too. in a good area close to buses and the tube, plenty of resturants around the area to eat in the evening.Good value for money and will certainly use this hotel again. Stayed for a few days on a business trip to University College, around the corner. Location perfect, near Metro and large railway stations. Rooms nicely refurbished, clean and well lit but very noisy, from other rooms mainly. Service minimal, breakfast romm gloomy, with very basic English breakfast. More

After booking we read some reviews and were a bit dubious about staying, but luckily we were pleasantly surprised as it wasn’t as bad as we expected.
