This was our second visit to the Ibis London City and once again it did not disappoint. We are the type of travelers who basically just need a bed to sleep in each night since we plan to be out and about sightseeing most of the day. So the highest selling point of this hotel for us is the price.... More

We used this hotel for a Saturday night stayover in London because it was very conveniently placed for a family trip to the Tower of London and a birthday meal at Ferdies' Food Lab in Toynbee Hall. The room and hotel were as you'd expect for an Ibis and the staff were friendly. The only niggle was that sirens kept... More

Front desk staff were excellent. My only complaint was I do not like paying for use of the internet in the lobby. We came from Italy where it was included. A much better idea! Thank you Pam McDougal More

I am amazed at the high ratings this hotel has racked up on TripAdvisor...Wow! I stayed in this hotel for 3 days and couldn't wait to run out of there. When a shuttle service almost rejects you because you are going to the 'wrong' side of town, that is a big hint right there that you shouldn't stay at this... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry to read that on this occasion you were disappointed with your stay at our Hotel. I understand that the security of the area is the most important factor in your trip, our hotel is equipped with 11 cameras in the public areas, plus security is patrolling the hotel at night. Furthermore, the doors are closed... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in May. It is located almost next to Aldgate East tube station, only 10 minutes walk from Tower Gateway for the Docklands Light Railway and 15 minutes walk to the Tower of London or commercial centre of London (The Gherkin, Lloyds building etc). The hotel and room were clean and tidy. The... More

This hotel was a decent price, close to the underground and had shops etc nearby. Our room was small, basic, reasonably clean. The bathroom wasn't that great and was tiny!! The temperature of the room was off and there was no mirror which annoyed my gf as it was her birthday and she was trying to get ready for a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review about your recent stay. I am glad to read that the hotel was convenient, but I am sorry some things didn't meet your expectations; such as the lack of the mirror for which the design of the room with the full length one and the one in the...
