Never in my life have experienced such poor service, quality of rooms or cleanliness. This hotel ought to be condemned. There was mold everywhere, the staff didn't know which rooms were available and which wasn't (eventhough I had ordered in advance) or how to check in or out. This review doesn't even begin to explain how terrible the experience was,... More

The Golders Green Hotel was good intimate. True the room was compact but provided all that a person needs. Staff were excellent, Breakfast was good, Room clean, and very good value for money. Although I was facing the main road I slept like a log. Would recomend it any day. Jacob Menashy More

We have just returned from this "Hotel". We made a late booking and basically this was the only place available close to family we were visiting. Yes it was basic but I thought what do you expect and the bed sheets etc looked presentable. It was noisy most nights BUT on the last night around 11.30, the room next door... More

I stayed there for 2 nights while working at Brent Cross Shopping Centre. I have to be honest and admit that after driving from Nottingham, working all day then going straight from work for a meal & refreshments, when i checked in and went to my room all i wanted was to sleep so didn't pay much attention to the... what should I expect for £55 in central london????? a decent bed and breakfast????? Neither of these were provided by the Golders Green Hotel. The bed had been used and abused, with a brown nylon duvet cover over a 30tog duvet (in summer). The television had no remote control and only 4 channels!!!!!! DO not leave anything of value in... The worts Hotel I have ever been. The buiding smells trash all the time and it gets worse in your room. There is no decent breakfast ( coffee it looks like very very old), and to have a better idea, the "food" is prepared in the same room where the cleaner keep the cleaning utensils. While she prepares your "breakfast" she... Dirty, smelly, unhygenic, broken, unsafe....the worst place I have had the misfortune to stay in. Do not stay at this hotel(?). The list of things that are wrong would go on and on and on...its only redeeming feature is its location, and proximity to Hamstead Heath. It would be better to book into Travel Lodge or Premier Inn style Hotel....possibly... More

We stayed at this hotel on the 2nd of may 2009. We wanted something close to all amenities. When we arrived and were taken to our room I thought oh my god what have we done. The bed was a camp bed, the duvet was not that clean, there was no tv remote and the bathroom was filthy. The room... More

We checked into room 208, which like the rest of the hotel, needs an immediate renovation. My wife woke up at 3am with multiple bites on her arm and face. Checking the bed we discovered bed bugs on the sheets. The hotel replaced our room, but no apologies were made. My wife went with a swollen face to an interview... More

Very disappointed, Don't go if you can afford more. There were no bedside tables, no dressing table, no remote control for the TV. One toilet paper roll, No marble around the bathroom sink had to put my toiletries on the toilet. Curtains in the room were filthy, and the noise from the traffic kept me awake all night. Breakfast awful,... More
