As someone who is used to travelling, both at home in the UK and abroad, I have to say that Jim’s Guest House (JGH) is probably the worst place I have ever stayed. The staff are clinically professional and the location for Shepherd’s bush is very good but that is all the good I can say about it. If you... More

Myself and a friend have just stayed at Jim's when attending a show at BBC TV studios, and we were both very impressed. The rooms were very clean, with tea/coffee, sattelite TV, and wi-fi available if you need it, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were highly impressed with the customer service shown to us by all Jim's staff,... More

Stayed for one night in a triple room (no 14) in their sister building across the road which is where you go to have breakfast. After reading the reviews i was a bit worried as to what we had let ourselves in for, but it was a good price in a good location for where we were going. When we... More

We booked one night only thank goodness. The room smelt and looked shabby. The shower was in the tiniest cubicle that you couldn't raise your hands to wash your hair without hitting your arms on the shower door, and nowhere to put your toiletries. I unplugged the kettle to plug my hairdryer in and the tv went off and the... More

We stayed here in July of 2009 for a week. I was travelling with my 3 teen aged sons. The location and the economical price was our choice for staying here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Eager to please and gave us directions and laundry soap!! One of the boys was ill for a couple of days and the... More

This budget hotel was a positive surprise: location on a quiet street aside from the main roads in Shepherd's Bush area - but still very close to the tube stations and Westfield mall. Newly renovated bathroom with a shower that even a non-Briton could operate - and plenty of hot water! Windows were modern with fairly good isolation and the... More

Despite the friendly staff the experience left me disappointed. My room smelled mould, bed was bad, building was noisy, there was no hot water in the shower, and in general the whole place felt sticky and dirty. Breakfast was served in another end of the road. More

Better than I was expecting. Staff were warm and friendly. The B&B was 5 minutes away from the tube station. Has a nice little local pub nearby. Had a twin room, and while the beds were not the biggest, they offered more than an adequate nights sleep. The rooms were warm and clean, with complementary tea/coffee, and clean towels were... More

Booked this guest house purely for its location for the Sheperds Empire 02, not kidding 2 mins away. Tube station 5 mins. Having read reviews I was really not looking forward to arriving. Upon arrival, met by a very pleasent lady shown straight away to room. Very clean, clean sheets, towels, tea/coffee/kettle all clean. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever... More
