Wouldn't make a conscious effort to stay there. When ever you ask them for anything it's nearly impossible for them to know or help. Helping with the luggage was an alien concept. Room no.1 can only be accessed by the service stairs which was ridiculous.

We spent a night here before Christmas and it was a great location in a quiet road. It is probably about 5 minutes slow walk from Oxford Circus so perfect for the shops and evenings out. We had a mid level room which was very large, had a great bed which again was really good and the bathroom had a... More

Discretely tucked away just a short walk from Oxford Circus and Oxford Street this little gem of a place has much to offer. Stayed for one night in a light spacious room with excellent service. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and I was suprised that despite being in the centre of london I managed a good nights sleep.... More

Chandos House was built speculatively by the Scottish architects Adam in the late 18th century and Lord Chandos bought it. It is now a residence of the Royal Society of Medicine. The ground floor is graced with superb Adam public rooms with their characteristic superb plastered ceilings. They are, sadly, function rooms and there is no obvious public lounge. Breakfast... More

Beautiful building and rooms. Booked late for the Olympics and got upgraded to the stunning Chinese suite. Spotless clean, quiet and very well placed. Breakfast is included but should be noted is only continental, no hot food is available.

We stayed here at the weekend and were told on arrival that the lift was not working so they would discount us £10.00 for the room. We were then told that our room was on the second floor, but in actual fact it was on the third floor. This was a problem for me as I am not able to... More

Lovely and stylishly renovated architectural jewel in downtown London, competent and curteous staff, nice room with spotless modern amenities, splendid breakfast arrangement with good buffet and huge, wonderful mahogany communal table, we loved it and will return with great pleasure.

Booked Three rooms for one night on laterooms, as I was staying here with friends on a short visit to the city. The hotel is very grand from the outside and this grandeur continues when heading inside. 24 Hour reception which is great if you have any issues during the night or at anytime. The rooms themselves were very large... More
