We recently stayed at the thistle and the hotel is the best in Middlesborough, bar none. The staff were helpful and polite, nothing was too much effort. The room was clean and comfortable, I would recommend this hotel to the queen lol.

We recently attended a function and have to say that given the number of people attending that the food was very good. All served piping hot and good size portions.
We also stopped overnight in one of the executive rooms which was to a high standard.
The breakfast cannot be faulted with something for everyone.
