I do my best to write balanced reviews and want to encourage the small independents. But in order to compete with the big chains they have to offer good value and something personalised, and this is Linden's problem. Linden House is so-so. Not great, not awful. Great location for the University and The hospital, also next door to a Tesco Express which is handy. Check in was easy even though we got there late. We had a family suite and the main room was excellent but the second room which has a bunk bed was a little small and cold, you could also hear the boiler... More

Just returned from visiting my daughter who is attending the University of East Anglia (UEA) for the fall semester. Arbor Linden House was suggested as convenient to UEA. I stayed at Linden for the best part of 6 weeks. The service was excellent. The staff and proprietress were very welcoming. If you're looking for a well kept value for money place to stay then I can't recommend it highly enough. More
