We booked 3 rooms as we were at a function close by. The welcome was friendly and we were invited to light the open fire in the lounge when we were ready. The rooms were clean and roomy. The breakfast was individually made to order and excellent! Overall it was a great find and I recommend it for a stay... More

I arrived in Austwick and as it was dark had a problem knowing where I was going so phoned Dalesbridge and they were very helpful in giving directions and were waiting outside when i arrived. My single room was small but cosy, with a lovely ensuite and fantastic power shower. I DIDN'T like the milk flask which seems to have... More

The moment I got there I was taken inside and shown around, asked what time I would like breakfast and then shown to my room, great service. Nice little touches like a flask of fresh milk with choices of hot chocolate, coffee and tea. Comfy bed and a clean room. I little pricey for what it was but definately a... More

Dalesbridge offers a wide variety of accommodation, from camping and bunk barn to bed and breakfast and this can make for rather 'uneven' provision in certain respects. Our family party of four stayed in the Scaleber room: twin single beds with bunk and ensuite toilet and shower room. Recently refurbished, the room was clean and the ensuite facilities are of... Stayed here the night before the 3 Peaks Challenge, it was in an ideal location for getting there. The room was small but clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities. I arrived fairly late but this wasnt a problem for Jon and his wife, neither was me leaving early the next morning, they have breakfast arrangements for people who have to... More

I found the Dalesbridge on the internet and booked in easily. Having arrived late I the evening I collected the keys from Jon in the bar and his wife Vicky took me to my room. Needing to leave early 5.30am ish, Vicky advised on breakfast and I was very pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality available. I will use... More

50 of us here in May with our classic car club for our annual National event. We had sole use of the site. The B&B accomodation was very comfortable and well appointed, people who stayed in the bunkhouses reported all was excellent and the camping facilities are also very good, plenty of hot showers, washing and WCs. The in-house BBQ... More

Stayed here when i took part in the three peaks challenge, this is not the most modern or luxurious, however the place was clean and the beds were comfy. I would express that the staff were unbelievably helpful, and would like to mention the guy with the long hair who seemed to work reception, bar and kitchen. Very Friendly, helpful,... More

Stayed at Easter as a group who stayed in the bed and breakfast and also the bunk house and camped. Our room was lovely, filled with period furniture and lovely and clean. We all had a really good time but I would single out the service as the highlight of the trip. The people running the complex were helpful and... More

Hi Clairee21. Thank you for your nice kind words. We do try and all be helpful, cheerful and accommodating and are glad that you appreciated it. The only issue I have with your review is that we do have local walks suitable for families and young children. Especially a lovely circular walk to the hamlet of Eldroth that does not... More
