As stated by others, the place is cosy, close to town, good parking, good breakfast and nice hosts. My parents stayed in room 4 and thought it great - loads of space, huge bed, has own sofa and chair. We had room1 and thought it fine also. Had a lovely night's stay in Settle Lodge. Got a warm (but sincere) welcome on arrival and were shown to a spotless room. Comfortable bed, everything was beautiful. The breakfast was yummy too. Owners friendly but not pushy - give you a key to come and go etc. Would definitely go back if in the area. Thanks!!! More

We had three nights at this superior guest house. We were welcomed by Amanda with a pot of tea and delicious homemade cake . Our room was stylish and comfortable, warm with a well equiped bathroom. Breakfast was good and Amanda helpful and knowledgble about local walks and attractions. Definitely worth a return visit. More
