I stayed 2 nights with my dog, Dylan, meeting some friends for a few days walking - including the Three Peaks! All the staff were effortlessly attentive and we all felt very welcomed. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the food great quality for a pub/Inn. Good value for money and Dylan would certainly love to come again!

Stayed at the Lion for 2 nights as we wanted a location near the railway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, everything was great - the rooms, food, service. Wish there was a place like this near our home town.

Had visited this pub/hotel last year and decided to go back and stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable, warm and good sized bathrooms.
