We stayed at the Grove for two days in April. The room was clean, bright and spacious. Plenty of thoughtful touches, and the breakfasts were great. Angela and Dave were very helpful, including holding our luggage while we went to visit the museum, and then taking down to the station to meet us when we were leaving. Christine and Ross.

Me and my husband have been going to the grove for the last 15 years whenever we go to Whitby, the hotel is great ,clean and Angie and dave are so friendly and welcoming. We would recommend staying threre, close to all u need xx

Stayed for one night, room was clean but small (7) had a lovely welcome tray and toiletries, owners were very nice and friendly, breakfast was lovely and plentiful, only down side was a little out of town centre and quite a few steps. I would stay again and recommend to friends & family

The location is about 1 mile from the town shops. The en-suite room was very small, The bed was ok. The full cooked English breakfast was very good. An added Bonus was the parking. One spot for each room.

Great location, and easy walk down the road to town/shops, comfortable room contemporary decor and bedding, lovely helpful hosts with a great sense of humour, place to park the car, fantastic breakfast (with muesli to start and a full cooked English with a perfectly poached egg - it's the little things that all add up!). Just Stayed at The Grove Hotel for 1 night but wish we had found this place sooner. The Hotel was lovely & clean with great facillities.Breakfast was 1st class,with a good choice. Proprietors were very friendly & welcoming.The hotel Is In a great location. We wouls definately recommend this Hotel & will stay here again If visiting Whitby.

Just back from our third stay at the Grove. Rooms very clean and confortable, breakfast excellent, with everything you would want. Private parking a great advantage, location just a few minutes from the harbour, bus and railways stations. Proprietors very friendly and welcoming. In short, no point in looking anywhete else in Whitby if you can get in here.
