very nice hotel lovely staff very clean quiet near railway station and the town would stay here again food very good very nice staff arrived 12oclock they took our luggade and put in a lock room so we could go off to town till our room was ready lovely hotel thanks

Stayed for one night mid-week. Was checked in (and out) quickly and was made to feel welcome. The room was large and kept well. The shower was a bit of a let-down as not very powerful. I could hear the fire doors in the corridor banging shut (on an automatic closer) throughout the night.

Couldn't be more helpful at this Premier Inn. Staff were excellent, food excellent, bedroom perfect. Location for the city wall at Micklegate was 200 yards away. No car park, had to park in Nunnery Lane, 300 yards away. Will stay there again.

just come back. stayed 2 nights. rooms were lovely clean . staff were all polite and helpful. we left our bags and came back later.to pick them up, nothing was to much trouble. the breakfast was also very good . we came on the train so 5 minute walk to premier inn ideal location. wouldnt hesitate in going back.

Went to York for long weekend by train! Premier Inn was short walk from station,just make sure which Premier Inn you have booked. There are two, both very close to each other and station.
