Large room, traditionally decorated (or old fashioned, depending upon your perspective) with comfortable bed and great view of the race course. Although the breakfast was good, the evening meal was mediocre and the hotel is getting a bit tired. So, all in all, probably better than "average" but not "very good." More

Had a nice stay the pool was lovely and staff were fine. Breakfast was lovely we ate in York the first night at the Waterfront which was great. The second night was near the Hotel at the Fox and Roman which was great value for money and lovely. More
