Had a great time, fantastic location and ambience. Wonderful staff, the owner is a delight, beautiful and does a mean pickled egg. Abundant culture, charm and joie de vivre - will definitely be coming back.

A lovely family run hotel only five minutes from York city centre. Ideal for our annual "get-together", consisting of 11 people. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at The Alhambra Court. The staff were very friendly and our evening meal was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the dishes on offer!

What a fabulous little place. excellent price, free parking, tidy very smart rooms with fabulously comfortable beds. The hotel is billed as 2 star but on our recent stay i would say it deserves a minimum of 3. what else to say? We will be returning here

While the bed was hard enough to warrant us pulling the blanket off to try to use it as a quasi-mattress pad, the location, just a ten-minute walk from the train station, and the eclectic interior of the hotel, as well as the warm, tasty breakfast made it worthwhile. Very nice hotel, close to the centre of York. We stayed only one night but would recommend it. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean and cosy. Well done:) The cooked breakfast in the morning could be better and it was served too early (served only till 9.30?)

We had a lovely stay in the Alhambra Court Hotel the staff were all very friendly lovely room and nice cooked breakfast. Great location, very close to the centre of York but not too close that it made it noisy, lovely stay overall :)
