Comfy room with river view; seemed a bit worn. Good location for sight-seeing. Average breakfast but attentive staff. Didn't find the front desk staff very friendly. There is secure parking available.

coach trip with silver star,friday to sunday christmas shopin,good value. the queens hotel was wellsituated for York center,the staff where very nice & helpfull.We where on a BB& evening meal package ,the carvery on the saturday night was to die for. rooms were clean .everything walking distance lovely spot on the rivers edge

The staff were very welcoming and gave us a map of the city... the room overlooked the river, it was lovely. Hotel very clean and it had plenty of room. Breakfast was nice. Good value for money. We would go back.
