My husband and I along with two friends stayed at this Guest house for a couple of days while visiting York. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were filling and good to eat! The place was decorated well and very clean

Spent one night here last December and you felt so welcomed as soon as you got to the door. The room was tidy, clean and pleasant, as was the bathroom. Only issue was the shower didn't work so had to have a bath. The landlords really did go out of their way to help you- loved it!

This is an excellent guest house and is in an ideal location to visit all the sites in York. The rooms were a good size and were exceptionally clean and warm. Just come back from a weekend in York. Stayed at Goldsmiths guest house, which was just great! 10 minutes walk along the river to York city centre, cosy warm room with great bathroom (was in the front of the house), great breakfasts, good choice and lots of food, charming hosts. All round great B&B, really made the weekend special
