What a wonderful B&B.....The rooms were great...comfortable and well equipped with everything one could desire right down to the hot water bottle. Breakfast was delicious as well. A spotless place. Really homely. Breakfast was faultless. And a lovely couple to boot. What more could you ask for . Stayed there for 2 nights and loved it. They even book your restaurants if you want and taxi. The restaurants know where your from and give you top quality service also. Well worth stopping over if your passing.

Fairshaw Rigg is a real find for any traveller. The alpacas make this even more special. From the moment you arrive Paul and Kathryn make you feel so welcome however not over the top Hexham itself is a nice town and the area is outstanding. For cyclists at the end of the day it is a bit of a tiring plod up the hill from Hexham - but 100% worth it. Fabulous, peaceful and relaxing b and b, where everything is perfect - from the simply delicious soup to the bath!
