We stayed in a massive lodge with 4 double bedrooms,4 bathrooms,a sauna and a swirl bath. Two friends visited for part of the stay.Hadrian's restaurant is reasonable value but the Grill is vastly overpriced. The golf courses are very expensive and very busy.Defeated by both courses but only lost 4 balls. My friend lost 10! Lots of water and bunkers-you have... More

Recently returned from a week's stay in one of the luxury lodges in the grounds of Slaley Hall. The lodge is first class and the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. We had a 3 bed lodge and there was only two of us staying. The lounge and dining room looked over a lake and there was... More

We have a timeshare so have been visiting for close on ten years. We always invite friends or family as the lodges have loads of rooms and are finished and eqipped to a high standard. We enjoyed a trip to Beamish, the open air museum and also indulged in shopping at the metro centre. Lots of pub grub locally, we... More

We have a timeshare and have done for around 13 years and love our week. This year we had snow every day but to be fair, it was only in the hills and was clear downin Hexham and Corbridge etc. The lodges are clean and come well supplied with equipment you may need in the kitchen. There is a couple... More

This is a very smart hotel in huge grounds with large comfortable bars. I have 2 very well behaved spaniels who are happy to sit at my feet in the bar, so it is a joy to find a lovely place with courteous, efficient staff who will accept us. We will definitely go back.

Yes there are a couple of quirks (like electricity not being included) .... but the lodges simply make CentreParcs feel cheap and tacky ... simple things like the quality of the glasses and toaster are a giveaway ... the fact that towels, bathrobes, washing up liquid etc are included. Our lodge this year had a patio, balcony, sauna, jacuzzi, huge... More

We have owned a lodge now for ten years and love our yearly visits to Slaley. They have great facilities within, including a sauna and jacuzzi bath. Very roomy and plush. The only negative is the heating is by electrical heaters, which are expensive and only just sufficient. The company should invest in log burners in my humble opinion. The... More

We have two weeks at Devere resorts every year; this year we have stayed at Slayey once (3 nights) with a full week at the end of November to look forward to. Our 3 night stay was just the two of us, we didn't stay in our allotted lodge but in a bungalow at the bottom. We overlooked the small... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in February this year. It was half term week and we had booked a 3 bedroom lodge. When we arrived there had been a problem with the booking menaing it had not been registered on their system, even though we had the confirmation from the internet. They bent over backward to keep us happy... More
