Very cosy and homely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. Affordable price and also the experience of meeting new people. Great place to stay rather than staying in a hotel.

As pensioners, I guess we're not the usual hostel clients but we had travelled a lot when we were younger and were familiar with the format, plus we dislike large impersonal hotels.
It worked out great and we will be returning. Charlie, the staff member who greeted us was brilliant - hard working, efficient, accommodating and welcoming. We were in...

I stayed with my friends for a weekend away. I had read on the website that is was a quiet hostel, which was perfect for us. However I stayed in the annexe and the room opposite me played loud music until 5 am. Banging on doors, singing etc. they were also sick all over the bathroom.
Worst night sleep ever....

We booked a four bed room for three nights. Having never been to Nottingham before I was a bit nervous but Igloo was simple to find. Although we were too early for our rooms we were able to leave our stuff at the hostel and go to the Tesco's down the road, kindly directed to by the staff.
We were...

There are only two drawbacks in my opinion: The beds in the all girl dorm room I stayed in were *tiny*, the bunks were really low that even an average height person such as myself (5'4) could not sit upright, and they were also quite...

Luckily for me I had the Igloo contact details handy and although it was fairly late in the evening I was able to make an immediate reservation - which was duly...

We'll be back!

We had a twin bedded room on the top floor in the Annexe above a shop across the road from the Igloo house. There was a TV and free wi-fi, in our room and on the same floor loos and showers . The clean fully-equipped self-catering kitchen was on the floor below.

So happy I came across this place. Stayed in the annexe section for a weekend when visiting Nottingham for a wedding. Cheaper than any other hotels or B&Bs that I could find, the room was clean, spacious and comfy with a good bed, free wi-fi and a decent tv. Although I suppose some people might prefer an en-suite bathroom, this...
