We had a meal. Extensive menu, favorable prices. jolly landlord and pleasant customers. We enjoyed the meal and felt that we had had a 'fun' evening. Nice position, above the river (no danger of flooding!)

If you want good honest down to earth food , and plenty of it try here for a meal , service was second to none , friendly staff , nothing too much trouble . We were visiting the area for the weekend with family and will definately visit here again next time .

This is a pub with rooms dating back to 1774. Situated close to Ironbridge. The accommodation is entered through a separate entrance to the pub itself. Looking at the other reviews, I must have stayed somewhere different. Stayed in room one and it was appalling, dirty, dark, uncomfortable beds, awful bathroom. £230 deal for 3 nights, beware your main course cannot go over £8 or you pay the difference. Paid for one night and left.
