We stayed here for a weekend to visit Longleat. The three bedded room was clean, warm, and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, plenty of towels. Overall a good experience at an Easter new orleans jazz weekend. Food was good with 2 real ales @ £2.70 a pint. Staff were professional. I stayed here last week on a business trip for one night. The whole hotel smelt musty and looked very very tired. There were stains on the walls in the corridors and the carpets were filthy. We have just spent four nights at the Wessex for a ballroom & sequence dancing break. The ballroom was excellent, with a large dance floor and seating around. We had 19 rooms for 37 people.
