Having read the reviews before we left, i took a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and cleaning wipes, i wouldn't have stayed if i hadn't, the rooms are dirty, smelly, ( i can even noew bring the smell to my nose disscusting) and need a total refit and please don't have breakfast (Black bacon and eggs, dirty fat)........how ever the staff...

i was looked after by richard and his staff very well the room was comfortable warm and very clean the breakfast and dinner was very tasty and peter was a perfect host. will be staying again in a few weeks.

The room we stayed in for 2 nights was very comfortable, it had all you would expect from a standard double room. It was clean and warm, and we were particularly impressed with the range of channels on the TV. The staff were friendly and very helpful too!

stayed 3 nights eat in the restaurant every night food was good value for money and so was the wine. its was good value for money all round. Dont know what the other reviews on here are complaining about i got more for my money...

attended a function in stoke and stayed at the plough for a few nights

Stayed here on Xmas eve as visiting family. Room and bathroom very clean and warm and of a standard that i would expect for a Motel. Flatscreen tv and modern no frills furniture. Ideal place for a sleepover and superb value for money. Couldnt have got a camping pitch for this price!!!
