My wife and I stayed for one night at The Old Cannon Brewery. The room was very good as was the en-suite. If there was a problem it was that people upstairs made a lot of noise walking around. Lovely little pub with good food and friendly staff, they brew their own ale so it was a great opportunity for my husband to try them out! We stayed in room 6 which was downstairs opposite the side entrance to the pub. The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and the shower was second to none!... More

Very friendly inn with good food, service and excellent atmosphere. Bedroom small, basic and in need of an update. En-suite also very basic - shower cubicle in need of renovation and a broken window blind. The Old Cannon Brewery was a pleasant surprise and staff couldn't have been more helpful. After travelling through Europe laundry was an urgent priority and staff went out of their way to let us use their machines.
