Outdated hotel. Staff hadn't a clue. said they were dog friendly...they are not..dogs can stay in the rooms but cant go anywhere else in the hotel.

Stayed overnight whilst attending an event at the racecourse. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded and given the July suite which was a great room. Breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant and efficient. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Stayed whilst visiting races and working in local area.
Restaurant nice and good value. Rooms clean and service at all levels with care for customer. Ideal for town and races locally. Decent car park, Overlook some of the horses coming back from gallops in the morning.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times but I think it is just getting worse and worse.
Don't get me wrong we had a lovely suite known as the "July Suite" - it was huge with a massive bed, three piece suite a massive flatscreen TV and a very large bathroom.
