A comfortable hotel close to the Metro and the city centre, executive room with a great bathroom and also good food. The dining room service was first class. This hotel was ideally situated for a weeend in " Toon " , Jesmond is a lively area with tree lined streets. Had a great stay.

Nice public areas and great base for Jesmond and Newcastle. Service is good - Rooms are still dated considering the decor in rest of the hotel which is extremely modern. We did the Groupon Champagne Afternoon Tea and really enjoyed it. The afternoon tea consisted of salmon, ham and egg sandwiches. Each person received a cheese and fruit scone. We went for afternoon tea, I must say the best we have had. A very nice selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones cream, jams etc could not fault it all well presented too on cakes stand etc. Very enjoyable and would go back. Staff very friendly.
