The words, boutique and family run give an entirely misleading image of this hotel. Its one redeeming feature is the friendly staff (when they can be found!), and even they seemed uncertain as to the exact ownership of the place. One extremely inconvenient and unwelcoming factor was the lack of any staff onsite after 5.30pm. When we arrived at 8pm... More

I came to visit some friends in Newcastle, and stayed at the Rosebery Hotel, and it was hands down one of the best places I have stayed in; in a long time. The rooms were always clean and beautiful! The staff and management were also so kind and helpful and had all the time in the world for their customers.... More

Beautifully decorated, just under gone refurbishment really quirky with some fabulous furniture i would love to take take home! 10mins from the airport and 5mins into town all very easy. Lovely quiet area over looking a green but still very central. Good value for money. More

I've just returned from a weekend stating at The Rosebery while I visited family in Newcastle. I'd heard about this hotel through a friend, and because I know the area, I wanted to be in Jesmond close to the restaurants and bars. It's only 10 mins away from town in a taxi too or there's a bus stop really close... More

Perfectly pleasant little hotel on the edge of Jesmond, overlooking a quiet green in a residential area. I had the most comfortable sleep of my life in a lovely French bed in room 2 - The mattress is to be recommended! The en-suite was small but very serviceable. Renovations look to be still underway, given the smell of paint and... More

Really quirky bed and breakfast, lovely newly renovated room. Best night's sleep for a while, loving the vintage beds! Breakfast was good, choice on offer varied! ! Sadly, the coffee wasn't to my taste, but otherwise all good. Staff very friendly! Would stay again! More

I stayed here recently and found the hotel to be very welcoming with friendly staff that catered to my every need. The hotel is well located and has free parking. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the food was spot on. Will definitely be returning soon. Shaun. More

I have been a frequent guest at the Rosebery Hotel, Jesmond over many years but sadly I can see my days there are numbered, if not already at an end. This formerly delightful Edwardian Bed and Breakfast was a haven of tranquility offering pleasant, warm, quiet, tasteful, uncluttered accommodation in keeping with its period at a reasonable price. No garish... More
