Stayed here when going to a concert at the Metro arena. My room was on the bridge side, the bridge is infested with pigeon nests and is very noisy. Floor in my room was very uneven and creaky. Check-in staff were excellent and friendly. Have stayed in far better Premier Inns, wouldn't return to this one. More

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and grandchildren last summer when we visited family in the area. The staff were great especially in the restaurant, they were so friendly and helpful. We arrived early as we had flown up from Wales, we took our bags to leave at the hotel and they said thery would try and get... More

Stayed here on business in mid-May and in brief the hotel provided a good clean room , friendly staff and a good breakfast. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Towels were a little on the thin side but for the price paid I couldn't really find anything significant to complain about. The local... More

Nice clean budget hotel in a good location let down by one stroppy receptionist. Not the best way to start your stay by one of the receptionist throwing a strop and walking off because we hadn't sorted out who of the party of 8 was stopping in which room. Thank god the rest were not like her. More

Stopped 2 nights Bank Holiday Weekend with 2 of our 3 children. What can I say? Lovely building, fantastic location, great food in the restaurant and made even better by the fact the kids were under 16 so got breakfast free! Had a family room all the way up on the 5th floor (bit of a bugger lugging our luggage... More

We asked for and were given a lovely quiet room in which to enjoy our 2 night break. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had booked a space in the secure car park and this allowed us to explore the city on foot and not worry about our vehicle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The... More

Great view. Building is very old so has some character compared to other Premier Inn hotels. I had a fairly large room but I saw some rooms were much smaller. Restaurant is nothing exciting for vegetarians. A lot of fire doors and therefore a little difficult with luggage. Very conveniently located More
