If you want a luxury B&B in beautiful surroundings with wonderful hosts then this is the place for you. The rooms are all very spacious and comfortable with gorgeous bathrooms. I can't remember the last time I soaked myself for an hour in the bath. The cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside which is great for walking. The lovely Cotswold... More

We had a wonderful stay at Larkstoke - we'd hoped for a quiet get-away and that's just what we got. The house is set is stunning grounds, far from main roads. Inside, the decor is very tasteful with a lovely lingering smell of wood smoke from the log fire. Laurie was a generous host giving us the run of the... More

My fiancee and I just returned from a 12 day trip to Italy with a short stop in the countryside outside of London, England. We chose an Upper Larkstoke B & B hosted by the most interesting couple, Laurie and Rupert Bell. The home was like going back in time yet we enjoyed all of the most modern conveniences of... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our bank holiday weekend stay at Upper Larkstoke. We stayed in the Blue Room on the top floor and were delighted with the finish of our accommodation. Laurie and Rupert Bell were friendly and attentive hosts and in their kitchen / diner demonstrated their ability to multi-task by serving up a huge country breakfast... More

My wife and I needed a place to stay while we attended an event nearby. We were greeted warmly and shown a well appointed and immaculate room. The location is beautiful and peaceful and the breakfast does not disappoint, being plentiful, locally sourced and (most importantly) delicious. We'll definitely come back when we have more time to enjoy the area... More

I booked Upper Larkstoke for a weekend getaway for my girlfriends birthday and as neither of us had been to the Cotswolds for quite some time, I wanted a picture perfect location, sheer relaxation, somewhere slightly away from the main tourist trail and a place to stay that was just that little bit extra special. Upper Larkstoke is all of... More

We had a lovely weekend at Upper Larkstoke. The house is set in beautiful surroundings in the middle of nowhere! The owner kindly agreed to come and meet us at the village pub so that we didn't spend too long getting lost! The room that we stayed in (Broadway) was immaculate and beautifully furnished, with views out both sides. The... More

Just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend at Upper Larkstoke. The owners Laurie and Rupert were extremely welcoming and helped us to decide where to eat on the night of our arrival. The house is beautifully appointed and we stayed in The Broadway room with the private bathroom with a beautiful huge tub. The bed was so comfortable and lots... More

Upper Larkstoke is an amazing bed and breakfast! I stayed there for a few nights during October half term with my daughter, sister-in-law and niece. We wanted a retreat from busy lives for a few days - and wow, what a location! It almost feels like you're in the middle of nowhere - the house is tucked away in beautiful... More
