The guest house itself was amazing - 16th century. The bedroom was very cosy and warm and comfortable. The hosts made us very welcome - we were able to sit in front of a log fire. The breakfast had about 10 different choices. We both had the farmhouse which included just about everything! The only down of this property was... More

We only had the one night at the Harbour and it was a lovely experience to stay in such a wonderful old building with lovely hosts. The room was on-suite with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in a beautiful light sunny room and the choice was exceptional, fresh fruit, home baked bread, choice of cereal and full English... More

Lovely house with great rooms, private bathroom for one room and ensuite for the other. Our room was lovely and breakfast was good too. We stayed here for one night when visiting Stratford-on-Avon - it was a good location but you'll need a car. Hosts were lovely and very hospitable.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a weekend away "child-free" and having trawled through loads of websites we were delighted to find what appeared to be a sweet guest house 15 mins away from Stratford-upon-Avon. From the first conversation with the owner over the telephone to book the room I felt warmly welcomed. I emailed the owners... More

The Harbour is a 17th century house of much charm, set quietly well back from the road in a fine mature garden. While the rooms may not be in the most modern style, they make up for that in character. The Warwicks are hosts of great natural warmth and consideration, ready when asked with practical advice for visitors drawing on... More

Went to the Harbor by word of mouth from the lady at Brookleys just up the road. On the main road in Bidford, this late 17th Century cottage has all the comforts of home and more. Relaxing by a log fire with the other guests after a long day sightseeing was the icing on the cake. Despite what it says... More

The Harbour Guest House is situated in Bidford-on-Avon near to the heart of the Shakespeare country , it is positioned just 6 miles downstream from Stratford-upon-Avon and 4 miles from Alcester and 6 miles from Evesham. Bidford itself shares some historical value as there was an Anglo Saxon settlement here the river bridge dates from the 15th century and the Falcon Inn was built in the 16th century, two centuries later on the Harbour Guest House was built. The Harbour Guest House is an attractive black and white period house which was built as a working farm it now stands in half an acre of well managed gardens. On arrival at The Harbour you can expect a warm and friendly welcome as we are delighted to greet you as our guests. The house offers comfortable accommodation for all who visit, this is essentially due to its welcoming olde world charm, with beamed ceilings, log fires in winter, a paneled dining room and a myriad of beams.
