My mother & I stayed here for 3 nights. Our first floor room was spotlessly clean and with an ensuite bathroom. I needed a place to stay that was close to the city centre and that provided parking - this was absolutely perfect. I didn't realise that it was possible to stay so central to all the Stratford amenities but... More

Stayed here for a theatre weekend break. Lovely quiet location, not a sound on the roads all weekend. We stayed in a top floor room. Nice super king bed. Not a lot of adequate wardrobe space, but as we only stayed for 2 nights it wasn't too much of a problem. The bathroom was very small but had a power... More

My husband and I needed accommodation within walking distance of Stratford-upon-Avon town centre and Hardwick House fitted the bill perfectly. It is in a quiet residential area just north of the town centre, about a 5 minute walk from Shakespeare's birthplace. Our top floor room was well-appointed, with a very large double bed, plenty of drawer and hanging space for... More

A friendly warm welcome from wonderful hosts. Simon & Drenagh have thought of everything! The room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable, especially loved the Kit kats on the tea tray! Breakfast was excellent! We had such a relaxing stay here & really can't recommend it highly enough. A great place to base yourself to explore Stratford & the Cotswolds. More

Well appointed B & B in a leafy neighbourhood, five minutes' walk from the centre of Stratford, and right near the Stratford and Avon canal. Hardwick House is clean and well appointed, with an excellent full English breakfast of high quality. An excellent place to stay. More

As regular theatre-goers, we have stayed at Hardwick House many times over the past ten years. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Stratford. Once we have parked our car, shopping, dining and the theatre could not be more convenient. The welcome from Drenagh and Simon is friendly, their rooms are spotlessly clean and breakfast is delicious. We would... More

It's worth going to this Guest House for the breakfast alone. Perfect non greasy food cooked by a county cricketer. Extremely friendly couple, Drenagh, and Simon who make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Very clean house, and very comfortable. Good situation as it's only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Well worth a visit... More

My wife, daughter and I have stayed at Hardwick House for many years on visits to the RSC and will continue to do so in the future. There is always a friendly welcome and the facilities (all rooms are ensuite) are excellent, having been constantly updated over the years in line with visitors' expectations. Simon's cooked breakfasts are superb too.... More
