Just returned from another great stay at the Edgbaston Palace. Having arranged a large group booking to stay over for a long weekend I am delighted to say that yet again we were made very welcome, had excellent service throughout and would like to thank everyone for making our stay an enjoyable one! We will be back!!! More

Stayed at the Edgbaston Palace for three nights over the bank holiday weekend, 4th-7th May. Location Good, Hagley Road is basically the 'strip' of hotels, very easy to get to from the m5. Buses going into city centre pretty much every 5 minutes (get a day saver if you plan on going in and out £3.80 and you can travel... More

Have just returned from a very stressful time in Birmingham. My son had been rushed into Queen Elizabeth Hospital with brain and head injuries. I googled hotels in the area and this appeared. Booked without reading reviews first. I must say that in my case the hotel have been EXCELLENT. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived, i... More

Disgusting hotel as well as the staff they have no form of customer service as well as the manager. No food or alcohol allowed in the rooms. If there is a group of you, you are not allowed in each others rooms. The car park is locked at 10pm and they wont open for you. I will never stay at... More

I always read reviews on here but have never written one before but felt I had to about this hotel. The reception staff were beyond rude, the hotel filthy with bare wires and no smoke alarms in rooms. When we turned the tap on in our room no water came out and receptions response was it's an air lock. The... More

I can only echo the experience of other reviewers and warn travellers NOT to stay in this awful hotel. It looked fine on the website but on arrival we were not at all happy with the shabby room we were given; the walls were scraped and marked, the bed bases exposed and filthy, the carpet covered in stains, window blinds... Wish I'd read the reviews before booking a room in this awful hotel! AVOID THIS PLACE! The receptionist took payment on arrival - big mistake. Our room had a filthy carpet, stained bedding blinds hanging off the wall. Worst of all, outside the room were two exposed electrical sockets and trunking. Don't know if the sockets were live or not... More
