I have stayed at the Clover Hotel on several occasions due to work. The first stay was fine. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was warm. The room was clean but outdated. Stayed here many times, to see a family member! Grat friendly staff, basic rooms but thats all you need!

The size of the room was about the only good thing about this place. The decor was old and shabby and the bathroom was absolutely filthy. “Fawlty towers has nothing on this!”

Arrived to find that this is actually several properties ie neighbouring houses obviously bought up as they came available, with just a few rooms in the hotel itself. The rooms were clean but very basic and in SERIOUS need of renovation. Burn marks on the carpets and cracked paintwork, woodchip wall paper.. you get the idea! Took about 20 mins... More
