I stayed in a £200 suite, which was spacious, with a cool decor and funky little espresso machine. However, the sink and toilet were looking tired and had cracks (maybe it was a rustique look?). Location is only a short walk from New Street or Snow Hill. I stayed for a work event. The food was of a good quality... More

This is our 2nd stay at the Hotel Du Vin Birmingham. The hotel design is wonderful, rooms spacious and comfortable. LOVE the nespresso in the room. The building is beautiful. We love staying here and at other Hotel Du Vin's across the UK. The staff were lovely and everything was really clean. However, it is let down by a few... More

This was our second stay at this excellent hotel and again I cant express enough how pleased we were with the whole experience. Spacious room, friendly helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere and superb facilities. I would highly recommend a stay here and guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Had booked in for the girls night in spa package with 3 friends. Cannot fault the staff they were friendly professional and always happy to answer questions. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was continental and they had the most amazing homemade granola and granola bars. We had a lovely stay. It's worth going for the building alone.

We stayed at this hotel for private party. Location - great. Room - lovely. Food - excellent. Staff - friendly but .... seemed a little disorganised. Had to wait ages to check out as the reception desk is tiny and can't seem to cope with a crowd. And breakfast, although absolutely excellent, was also slightly marred by tardy service. But... More

Dear "LTH3554" Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor. I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food, service and stay overall, but sorry that check out was a little slow. I agree that the reception desk is tiny and whilst being in such a beautiful listed building has it's... More

Went to the Hotel Du Vin restaurant to celebrate mine and my Husband's wedding anniversary. Upon arrival it took a while to get acknowledged by a member of staff, even though the restaurant was relatively empty. I found the staff members very rude and not welcoming - the saving grace for this restaurant is the lead waiter, he was very... More

Dear Edward, Philip and Max Thank you for taking the time to post a review on what sounds like a very enjoyable stay. I have personally passed on your kind comments to Becky on reception (you got the right name!) and she was over the moon to hear that she got a mention. It is great to hear that you... More

Dear Amanda and Steve I am so sorry to hear of your incredibly disappointing experience. I am pleased that Sam used his initiative to try and rectify the situation for you but clearly the gesture of champagne was not going to be enough. My husband and I stayed in a standard room for two nights, and we were delighted with our stay. The bathroom was the clear highlight, with a spacious rolltop bath, a large monsoon shower and enough room to swing a cat! The main room had a large soft bed with a Nespresso machine and complimentary pods. The room is quite... More

Stayed for one night in a twin room (can’t remember the name, but it was on the 1st floor and up the left-hand stairs. The room was very large, but bizarrely had the two tiniest single beds you’ve ever seen. They seemed smaller than a standard single bed, which given all the spare floor space seemed rather a strange decision.... More

Dear Sarah P, thank you so much for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor. Despite some frustrations I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall.
